Hanna’s first batch!
The time has come when Martin needed to take on an trainee distiller to help as demand grows, and to allow him a little bit of time off to relax. Just a little bit of time off!
Hanna, our gardener, has always shown an interest in the distilling side and has enjoyed researching and trying out different botanicals for gin. It was a natural progression, for all, for Hanna to move onto learning the ways of Elizabeth, our fabulously shiny still!
After lots of training, Martin finally allowed Hanna to take the reins and on Thursday 4th May Hanna distilled batch number 20 of this year! Have a look at your next bottle of Rock Rose Gin as it may well bear the initials HM 🙂
Martin couldn’t bear to be away for too long and was back beside Elizabeth distilling away again the following Tuesday!
