This warming pumpkin espresso martini is perfect for Autumn days. There’s a recipe below for spiced pumpkin syrup, but you can also buy it online. The leftover syrup can be chilled in a sterilised jar and used in cups of coffee, and also drizzled over ice cream or pancakes.
Ingredients
- 200g Golden caster sugar
- 50g Light soft brown sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Ground cloves
- 2 tsp Ground ginger
- Grating of nutmeg
- 200g Canned pumpkin puree
- 50ml Holy Grass Vodka Cold Brew Coffee Edition
- 20ml Kahlua
- 50ml Strong espresso coffee
- Garnish: Twist of orange peel

Recipe
- Place all the ingredients in a saucepan with 125ml water
- Simmer over a medium heat for 10 minutes
- Allow to cool
- Shake the vodka and Kahlua along with 25ml Pumpkin Spiced Syrup and ice
- Fine strain into a martini glass
- Garnish with a twist of orange peel
