The weather is definitely improving and tasty treats for outdoors was called upon for our Refill Rewards Club – May 2024 box. It is lovely having longer, lighter evenings to enjoy.
We think we should be making the most of being outside whether it is working in the garden, pursuing a fitness activity or simply just breathing in the fabulous fresh air and relaxing! Our treats this month included a couple of goodies that can easily be taken outdoors with you.
Forest Feast
The perfectly sized snack for taking out and about! Forest Feast oven-roast their skin-on almonds and then drench them in Belgian dark chocolate, adding a sprinkling of salt and a dusting of cocoa. A rich, intense, sweet-salty experience! They also come in larger share bags too, if you feel so inclined!
We love their commitment to sustainability and the fact that they centre their business on people, the community and also the environment. Like us, they are continually striving to find ways to do things better. They currently plant a tree for every order placed – what are you waiting for!
Made for Drink
Another delicious wee snack to feast upon is the delicious Iberian Pork Chicharrones! Chicharrones is a Spanish word commonly used to describe fried and seasoned cuts of pork rind, ie Spanish pork crackling. A nice tasty treat to enjoy as an aperitivo with a Rock Rose Gin & tonic.
We have included Made For Drinks products in our previous Refill Rewards Club boxes and really appreciate that they are 100% carbon neutral and are working towards 100% compostable packaging.
