Holy Grass
The hero botanical in our Holy Grass Vodka! It was discovered growing on the banks of nearby Thurso River by Robert Dick, a legendary botanist. It has a wonderful aroma and was once used on church floors to give a sweet, vanilla smell when walked over, thereby earning itself it’s religious moniker. Also known as Anthoxanthum nitens

Cinnamon
Cinnamon comes from the inner bark of the tree and was once traded as currency! Nowadays as a popular household spice it adds earthier, warming elements to many dishes. We distil the cinnamon in our Holy Grass Vodka to complement the sweeter vanilla and apple notes.

Highland Apples
We use Highland apple juice from Black Isle Berries near Inverness. The freshness of the apple complements the sweeter, vanilla notes of Holy Grass.

Perfect Serve
- The gorgeous vanilla notes in Holy Grass Vodka lend themselves perfectly to a Dunnet Donkey!
- Add 50ml Holy Grass Vodka, 25ml lemon juice to a glass with ice and top with ginger ale. Garnish with mint.
- Alternatively, appreciate the flavours by sipping over ice or with apple juice.

My wife and I visited the distillery in early December, we we’re both made to feel very welcome and enjoyed a few samples. Having made a few choices, I thought it would be nice to spread the love, so ordered a bottle of the Holy Grass Vodka for my sister. She received it just after New Year and has agreed with us that its the best she’s ever tasted!

While visiting my son in Oxford a week ago, he had a sample size bottle of Holy Grass Vodka. I tried it and was blown away by the taste and flavour. As soon as I got home, I went on-line and ordered myself a bottle. While completing my order my eyes strayed to the Seasons Gins. Being a Gin drinker, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to order a bottle of that too. As there were 4 to choose from, I will work my way through all of them without a doubt. I have not been disappointed with either of the purchases. Anyone who is considering buying any of the bottles should not hesitate, Go For It!!! I am extremely glad that I had the opportunity to taste the vodka when I did, and I was surprised that it was better than I expected. I always associate Scotland with Whisky, but from now on Holy Grass Vodka will be my drink of choice.

Was at the distillery in September while on holiday, had a gin tasting event. Loved our day so much with the lovely staff member explaining the history of the beginning of the distillery and our wee gin tasting. Bought a lovely bottle of gin so decided to buy the vodka for a 60th gift and the lassies gin for our daughter as a Christmas gift. We ordered it online and it arrived quicker than we expected and well wrapped. Thank you so much.
